wiz of the west

riley was in a fantastic show last weekend. the missoula children's theater comes to town every february and in a week put on an amazing children's show. they hold auditions on monday afternoon, then they have play practice tue thru friday after school from 3:30pm until 8pm, and then perform two shows on saturday. its remarkable to see what they do with these kids in a week.

this year they put on 'the wiz of the west', which is a western cowboy sort of twist on the wizard of oz. riley was cast as a buzzard. he had a few lines and he very much enjoyed the experience. here are a few shots from the show.

riley loved it and he's already excited to do it again next year!!!

skate night

the elementary schools here in town hold a skate night every week during the winter. usually starts in jan and ends the week before spring break. we go pretty much every week and we all love it. great weekly family fun. so just wanted to share a few shots i took last week!
