we first flew into minneapolis and stayed a couple nights with our friends chris and heather and kids evan and acacia. had a great time hanging out and enjoying yummy foods.
then we drove out to the middle of wisconsin to visit our friends jonel and andy and kids iris and elsa. this part of wisconsin is an under-appreciated place. it is quite beautiful with all these quaint little omish buggies driving down the road. our friend have this ideallic country home and put us up in a charming little cabin on their property....very much worth the extra drive.
THEN we drove up to the north of wisconsin where we spent a long weekend on the shores of lake superior with 6 families. it was glorious.
the kids were so amazing. they made fast friends. playing soccer together. big chess games. digging in the sand.
