more catching up

more march.
our niece megan road tripped out on her spring break with her boyfriend hayden.  we had a great time with them.....the kids were just smitten with the teenagers.

for the second half of spring break we went to leavenworth, washington to celebrate our friend zack's 40th birthday.  there were 5 families, 10 adults and 10 kids.....all together in a big ol' house.  it was a super super fun week.

we had a lovely visit from todd's dad and step-mom for easter......with the greater campbell clan coming out for brunch and a egg hunt for the kiddos

lucy goosey turned 8 on january 2nd!! what a big girl we have….and such a girl is she.

her birthday itself included a brand new bike (with gears!!…easier to keep up with her big brother on the trails :))

chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast…. "L" was the letter of the day and the number was "8"

…and a birthday bike ride with her friend rhy.

...then today we celebrated her birthday with a fabulous party with all her friends.  lucy has found herself recently in love with horses, so we took a group of girls to a nice lady with several horses.

…riley even thought it looked fun and decided to give this horse thing a try

….one big fun swing on the rope after the ride, and then home for cake!

…lucy actually made her own birthday cake (funfetti of course), and i just decorated it…..she was pleased with the result.
